What Manner of Man: A Weekly Program to Better Know the Savior   Week 10 -- Mental and Emotional Discipline By Linda and Richard Eyre   Whatever our Lord's physical strength may have been, the power and discipline of his mind was even more overwhelming, perhaps to a level that our own minds cannot really comprehend but can only glimpse.  Think for a moment of some of the examples we know.   The unwavering, straight-ahead rejection of Satan's strongest suggestions: ... The Interpreters Taken-Why? (1828) It is commonly believed that the heavenly messenger took the Urim and Thummim and the plates from Joseph following the loss of the 116 pages by Martin Harris. Actually the plates and interpreters, as they were called, were taken earlier and not as a result of the loss of the translated pages but as Joseph later said, "in consequence of my having wearied the Lord in asking for the privilege of letting Martin Harris take the writings."  Shortly af...
